This integration enables Unifyed Digital Campus clients to seamlessly access InCommon^® Federation from Unifyed Digital Campus.

InCommon^®, operated by Internet2^®, provides the U.S. higher education and research community with the common framework for trustworthy shared management of access to online resources. InCommon^® facilitates the development of a community-based common trust fabric sufficient to enable participants to make appropriate decisions about the release of identity information and the control of access to protected online resources. InCommon^® is intended to enable production-level end-user access to a wide variety of protected resources.

Unifyed single sign-on integration to InCommon^® Federation provides the following value to Unifyed Digital Campus clients:

1. Access to InCommon^® Resources – Unifyed Digital Campus clients now have access to a variety of protected resources including:
   • Microsoft^® Imagine^®
   • Box^® & Dropbox^®
   • National Student Clearinghouse^®
   • EBSCO^®

   and many more

2. Infrastructure – Unifyed Digital Clients no longer need to reinvent the wheel and install and maintain require separate instances of Shibboleth^® because Unifyed Identity includes an identity provider (IDP) that supports protocols such as OAUTH, WS-Federation and SAML and includes out-of-the-box attribute mapping with InCommon Federation.
