Enhancements

Messaging App – Message Expiration Reset when Editing Message

If an expiration date/time for a message is set in the Messaging App an issue would arise when someone would go to edit the message. When the edit view loads it will pre-load the title, content, and delivery channels that the message was configured with. However, it would not correctly load the expiration date/time. This would cause the expiration of the message to no longer be active when the message editor saved the update. We enhanced the editing form to now pre-load the expiration date/time selection.

Messaging App – SmartAlerts Displaying in Message Inbox

We have enhanced the SmartAlerts tool to deliver messages to the Message Inbox applet along with the other messages sent from Engage. In previous versions the messages from SmartAlerts would only be delivered to the user’s email address.

Friendly URL Mapper – User’s Redirected to Forbidden Error

When configuring friendly URL’s in the URL Mapper applet if the destination URL included “/web/” the user being redirected would sometimes be shown a forbidden error instead of the instended page. This has been resolved.

User Groups – Sorting by Email Address not Sorting Users Correctly

When an administrator views the users of a User Group (Studio > Users and Groups > User Groups) if they try to sort the users in the user group by Email Address attribute the user’s would not sort correctly. This has been corrected, and all sortable fields are now behaving as expected.

Role Based Access Control – Searching User Groups Not Returning Expected Results

When searching for a specific User Group in the Role Based Access Control the results returned were not always sorted in the right order. Groups matching the search query would be visible, but below other results that did not match the query.

Manage Tiles – Improving Manage Tiles Management Screen

The following additions and improvements have been made to the Manage Tiles management screen:

  • Tile Title field will no longer accept more than 50 characters. This has been the maximum limit, but a tile manager would be able to type more than 50 characters without receiving any alert or warning.
  • The background color for each tile is pre-selected as black, but the system would still urge you to update the background color if not changed from the default. This has been resolved.
  • There was a type in the text for the description field. This has been corrected.

Messaging App – Remove “Other” fields when certain Delivery Channels Selected

When sending a message only through Mail or To-Do Delivery Channel we are removed the “Other” section of options at the bottom of the messaging form. When using these channels the options in the “Other” category were not used. This was causing some confusion in message senders, so it was removed when not in use.

Unifyed Connect – Sticky Post able to be Removed by Non-Category Administrator

We have improved the behavior of the Sticky Post functionality within the Connect app to no longer allow regular message senders the ability to remove a sticky post within a category. The ability to manage which users / user groups can post or edit sticky posts is handled within the Category Configuration area. A tenant administrator will also be able to remove these sticky posts.

Improvements

To-Do List – HTML Showing in To-Do item after Editing

When a To-Do message contained HTML (links, bullet list, etc) and a user would edit it, the HTML would no longer appear as rendered, but as plain text HTML. This has been resolved.

My Drive – Icon for CSV not displaying when showing in My Drive

When a CSV file was displayed to an end user through the My Drive the image icon next to the document was showing as a broken image. This has been resolved and is showing correctly.

Unifyed Design – Fav Icon Not Consistently Updating

When an administrator would try to update the Fav Icon (the icon displayed on a web browser tab next to the site name) it wouldn’t always update correctly. It would not display any error, and the Fav Icon would not update. We have corrected the issue.

User Groups – Typo on User Group Creation

We resolved a typo in an error message while creating a new user group. If the description field was not populated it would throw an error that contained a typo.

Unifyed Design – Added Success Message when Updating Design

A success message confirming Design changes were saved has been added to the Studio > Design tab.
