Unifyed Identity 8.37

Summary

Unifyed Identity prioritizes exceeding client expectations by delivering the most stable and seamless production releases. In this release we fulfilled several client requests, enhanced the password policy complexity so that your users can create strong and secure passwords, strengthened account security, several checks from securities and privacy standpoint.

Here’s a list of some of these enhancements and resolved bugs.

Enhancements

  • User notification: Implemented enhancements to improve the customer experience for notifications regarding password expiration, account modifications and account settings updates.
  • OIDC external claim configuration and scope: You can now add OIDC claim configurations and scopes directly from the Unifyed Identity admin console.
    • OIDC (OpenID Connect): A trusted protocol that enables secure authentication and authorization, allowing applications to verify user identities and access their profile information.
    • External claims: Key user attributes that come from trusted external identity providers.
    • Scopes: Permissions that define the level of access an application requests (e.g., user profile, email).
    • Admins can perform all CRUD operations from here. This UI aims to empower you by streamlining the configuration of claims and scopes, making the integration process more intuitive and user-friendly.
  • Password complexity policy: Replacing the current method of indicating password complexity with an interactive screen element. This element would visually display the complexity level in real time as the user types a password.
  • Personalize text notifications with first names: Users can now enjoy personalized notification emails and messages that include their first name.

Bug Fixes

  • Users can now authenticate using the PaloAlto VPN client with the YubiKey feature.
  • Corrected the redirection functionality to align with specified policy configurations.
  • Fixed the functionality that prevents the reuse of previous passwords in the password policy.
  • Resolved issues related to security question settings in user accounts.
  • The browser-specific issues affecting your identity verification process have been resolved, enhancing the security and reliability of your experience.
