Enhancements

At Unifyed, we classify an Enhancement as an update to an existing feature or capability to make it more advanced or to provide additional value or offer a richer user experience.

Improved Tag Search – Case-Insensitive & Partial Matching

Summary
To enhance user experience, the Global Search feature now supports case-insensitive and partial keyword matching for tags, making it easier to find relevant content even if the exact tag format is unknown.

What’s Improved:

  • Users can now search tags using natural phrases, regardless of case or spacing.
  • No need to match the exact single-word tag format.
  • Works across all content types (e.g., Articles, Smart Articles, Pages).

Examples:
If a page is tagged with SchoolOfBusiness, the following searches will now return relevant results:

  • school
  • school of
  • School Of Business
  • SCHool OF Business

Note:

  • Tag creation remains unchanged: still created as single-word strings without spaces.
  • This enhancement only impacts search behavior, not how tags are stored.

Sitemap XML Export for Public Pages

Summary

To support better content indexing and external integration, a new Sitemap XML export option has been introduced. This allows admins to download a structured list of all public-facing page URLs directly from Studio.

New Feature Location:

Studio → Export → Data → Sitemap

  • A new row labeled “Sitemap” has been added under the Data tab.
  • A Download icon beside the row allows admins to export the sitemap as an XML file.

What the XML Includes:

  • Fully qualified URLs for:
    1. Main menu pages
    2. Submenu pages
  • Optional metadata (if available):
    1. Page Title
    2. Last Modified Date
    3. Priority

Note:

  • Last Modified Date is applied only to pages.
  • Last Modified Date is applied only to pages.
  • The following metadata fields are now included as static values for all entries:
  • xml
  • daily
  • <priority>0.7</priority>

Configurable Cookie Consent Message with CKEditor Support

Summary

Enhancing the previous cookie consent feature, tenant admins can now customize the consent message using CKEditor instead of relying on a static hardcoded message. This allows for formatted content, external links, and better alignment with institutional policies.

Where to Find It:

Studio → Settings → Site Settings → Site Features

    • When “Enable Cookie Consent” toggle is ON, a new “Configure Cookie Consent” button appears.
    • Clicking this opens a popup with a CKEditor interface.

CKEditor Capabilities:

  • Rich text formatting (bold, italic, etc.)
  • Hyperlinks (open in new tab _blank recommended)
  • Images and file attachments
  • Same editor behavior as used in article creation

Validation & Persistence:

  • Default message is preloaded and saved as fallback if input is blank.
  • Consent message is stored at the tenant level and retained even if the toggle is later turned OFF.

Frontend User Experience:

Scenario A:

  • Enable Cookie Consent = ON
  • Allow Login without Consent = ON
Prompt is shown → Users may accept or reject but can access the app either way.

Scenario B:

  • Enable Cookie Consent = ON
  • Allow Login without Consent = OFF
Users who click Accept proceed to the app
sers who click Reject are immediately logged out

Impact
This upgrade gives admins full control over the cookie consent experience using flexible, branded, and accessible messaging.

Resolved Defects

  • Failed to Load group members
  • Page Path No Longer Affected by Case Changes
