The following applets have been updated with new enhancements and/or resolved defects:

• My Drive
• Community Drive
• Messaging Inbox
• Event MultiURL

To update an applet:

• Click on ‘Studio’ from the Profile dropdown on the right.
• Click on ‘App Manager’ from the new navigation bar that appears on the left.
• Click on ‘Unifyed Appstore’.
• Click on ‘Update’ for all the applets that you wish to update.
• Close the window and click on ‘Publish’ present in the top right corner.

At Unifyed, we classify an Enhancement as an update to an existing feature or capability to make it more advanced or to provide additional value or offer a richer user experience.

Sorting Option in My Drive and Community Drive

The new Sorting Option in My Drive and Community Drive enhancement introduces an intuitive way for users to organize files efficiently. With the addition of sorting functionality next to the search bar, users can now arrange files in alphabetical order (A to Z) or reverse alphabetical order (Z to A), making content retrieval more streamlined.

Key Benefits –

• Improved File Organization – Users can quickly sort files in My Drive and Community Drive for better accessibility.
• Enhanced User Experience – A familiar, easy-to-use sorting mechanism similar to other Engage modules ensures consistency.
• Faster Content Discovery – Reduces the time spent searching for specific files by allowing users to sort them logically.

Feature Summary –

• A sorting dropdown is now available next to the search bar in both My Drive and Community Drive.
• Sorting options include:
  • A to Z: Arranges files in ascending order alphabetically.
  • Z to A: Arranges files in descending order alphabetically.

• The default sorting behavior remains unchanged, ensuring a seamless transition for users.
• The sorting UI is consistent with the implementation in Studio → App Manager → Unifyed AppStore → Public.

Getting Started –

1. Navigate to My Drive or Community Drive within Engage.
2. Locate the sorting option next to the search bar.
3. Click on the dropdown to select either A to Z or Z to A sorting.
4. Files will be instantly reordered based on the selected sorting preference.

Modified Date in My Drive and Community Drive

The Modified Date enhancement in My Drive and Community Drive provides users with clearer insights into file and folder activity. This update introduces visible timestamps for modified and created dates, ensuring better tracking of changes.

Key Benefits –

• Enhanced File Management: Users can quickly identify the last modification date of their files and folders.
• Improved Transparency: Clearly displays when a folder was created and last modified for better tracking.
• Seamless User Experience: The update integrates smoothly into the existing UI without disrupting current functionality.

Feature Summary –

• A “Modified on [date]” label will now appear below the folder name.
• Modification events include:
  • Renaming a folder
  • Sharing a folder
  • Moving a folder

• When navigating inside a folder, both the created date and modified date will be displayed beside the folder name.
• The date format remains consistent across all instances (e.g., “Modified on Mar 12, 2024“).
• This enhancement applies to both My Drive and Community Drive.

Getting Started –

1. Open My Drive or Community Drive in Engage.
2. Locate any folder and notice the “Modified on [date]” label beneath the folder name.
3. Enter the folder, and you will see both the created date and modified date beside the folder name.
4. Perform actions like renaming, sharing, or moving the folder, and the modified date will update accordingly.

The messaging inbox applet incorrectly breaks paragraphs in messages containing thetag, disrupting the intended formatting.

Along with the platform, this release is compliant to WCAG 2.1 AA.
