My Drive – Drop Box Feature

Two new applets that work together to create a drop box feature within Engage. The first tool is an upload button that can be placed on any page. When clicked a user can select a file to be uploaded into a specified folder within Engage.
The second is a list of documents specific to each user that they have uploaded into the target folder. Users can click the name of the document to view it.

Poll Applet

The new Poll applet allows you to gather targeted input from your users quickly and easily. Each user can only vote once per poll, and the poll can be placed on any page in the system. An administrator can change which poll question is being displayed in the applet.

Global search can’t find custom applets

When adding content to a custom applet like the title, a user couldn’t enter that text into the search and find the applet. This is now resolved and the content inside of a custom applet can be used as search terms to find the applet using a global search applet.

Global Search – Highlight selected article

The global search applet has been further enhanced to ease the user experience. Now if you are searching for an article or Smart Article when a user clicks on an article instead of only taking the user to the page with the article it will focus on the article (scrolling if needed).

User Search – Allow searching user by username field

In the Studio > Users & Groups > Users screen an administrator can now search for users by their screenname instead of only by their email address. This will make finding users simpler when the username and email address do not overlap.
