New Features

Impersonate User

With this new feature, a tenant admin can impersonate users of the system. This enables administrators to get a view of how different users see the pages given the different settings. To get to the Impersonation option, start with Menu > Studio > Users & Groups > Users > Find User > Click Configure Icon and select Impersonate.


New End User Message Inbox

This new inbox allows the user to see a more simplified and united view of the message they’ve received from Unifyed. In the previous applet, the end user saw an additional tab that were not needed, and the messages received from smart alerts appeared on a different tab. Otherwise, the applet behaves the same as the other Messages App.


Migration Tool

This feature includes the following features:

  • Copying of communities from portal to the new Engage platform. This includes the pages, content, users, and administrators.
  • It allows for the selection of individual communities. This allows you to avoid copying old or outdated content to the new system.
  • See a visual progress bar of the migration process.


Global Search for Connect Posts

has been enhanced to allow search for Connect posts to be included in the overall global search.


Additional Fields Displayed in CSV Upload to Messages App

When uploading a CSV list of users in the Audience section of the Messages App, it now displays the Email, name, and mobile number of the users uploaded. It will also alert you with a red X if the user does not have a mobile number registered with the system.


Filenames for Uploaded PDFs

Before the enhancement, the URL that was copied from My Drive would end in “/latest” instead of the filename and corresponding file extension. The My Drive has been enhanced to now display the correct filename and file extension when copying the file URL.


Global Search is now searching for Applet metadata

The Global Search now allows you to find applets in the system by searching for the metadata used to configure them. This is helpful when using applets such as news or events feeds when a user might want to search for the name of the feed being used.


View and Export Message Acknowledgement

With this new addition, we can now view and export who has and has not acknowledged the message. As a message sent to view the status of your message, go to the Message Applet then find a message. From there, click on Acknowledged Status and a modal will pop up, allowing you to view the different status of users along with an export link from the Acknowledgement and Pending tabs.
