Unifyed Student – Engage | Release 11.7

New Features

Sorting Feature

With this release Under Studio->settings->RBAC, sorting functionality has been introduced. Groups can be reordered as per the requirement now.

 

Messaging applet

With this release a new feature “MessagingInbox” has been introduced which will show all the messages to the receivers.

Enhancements

Global search

Another field to the Global Search tool (on mobile and web) to match the search term with the contents of the connect post and/or the category name has been added.

 

Print functionality

With this release, A print functionality has been created for all the pages in Portal. Toggle for Print can be managed through Studio->Site settings->General.

 

Live Chat-Ringtone

A new option has been added to change/update the ringtone for a Live chat agent when there is a new chat request. Additional option here to add/upload a custom ringtone, wherein the client can upload a ringtone based on format and size as prescribed.

 

Group Chat

A separate option to create group chat room for a specified site group while creating it has been provided.

 

Acknowledgement for Message

With this release, Acknowledgement feature under Message Center > Require Acknowledgement allowing message sender or Message Admin to be able to view the acknowledgement status for all users who received the message has been designed and provided.

Bug Fixes

Language list

Prior to this release Yoda chat bot Language list was changed to undefined, instead of list or various languages. It has been fixed now.

 

Blackboard Applet

Previously Blackboard applet links were not opening properly has been addressed now and working fine.

To update an applet:

  • Click on ‘Studio’ from the Profile dropdown on the right.
  • Click on ‘App Manager’ from the new navigation bar that appears on the left.
  • Click on ‘Unifyed Appstore’.
  • Click on ‘Save’ for all the applets that you wish to update.
  • Close the window and click on ‘Publish’ present in the top right corner.
